School Games
Run your whole school games day in one place
School Games plans the timetable, collects entries from every house, draws the fixtures, records the results and keeps the points table — for board games, sports days and interschool meets alike. Built for teachers: set up the games once, and the software works out the schedule, the boards and who runs what.

What it does
Games
- Knockout, heats & final, league groups, or a single sitting
- Boards (or courts, tables, lanes — you name them), players per board, and round length
- An event per category and gender, each with its own room and per-house limits
- Team games: houses field teams (Red A, Red B) with minimum and maximum sizes
- Points per placing, plus participation points, set per game
Timetable
- Generates the whole grid — every event placed in a time band automatically
- Respects board limits, break times and multi-day meets
- Separate band grids per category when age groups run on different schedules
- Shows spare capacity and suggests events that fit the idle board time
- Move an event by hand and it re-checks every clash for you
Teachers
- A roster per competition, editable inline — type a name or email and it saves
- Assign a teacher in charge of each game, and a teacher to every board
- Auto-assigns board duties, spreading the load and keeping people on one game where it can
- Detects when a teacher is double-booked and fixes the clashes in one click
- Mark teachers exempt and they are never rostered automatically
Entries
- Each house adds its own participants, with instant saving as you type
- Only eligible children are offered — the right age category and gender
- Stops a child being entered in two events at the same time
- Enforces the minimum and maximum entries per house
- Download any house's entry list as a spreadsheet
Fixtures
- Draws brackets automatically, avoiding same-house first-round ties
- Third-place playoffs, heats feeding a final, and round-robin league tables
- Winners advance on their own as you record each match
- Undo history — restore a previous draw if you need to
Results
- Record a winner, a finishing order, a score, or sets
- Measured events too — times and distances, ranked automatically
- House points table updates itself as events finish
- Analytics for participation, results and how the day is running
Sharing
- Invite colleagues by email — no links to pass around
- Roles: viewer, editor, or teacher with exactly the pages they need
- Give one teacher just their house's entries, or just the results page
- A teacher in charge of a game can always record that game's results
- See who has access, what they reach, and whether they've opened it
Competitions
- Run as many competitions as you like from one account
- Each is completely separate — entries and results never mix
- Copy last year's setup to start the next one in seconds
- You own what you create, and choose who else can see it
